Shaoli Fang

Shaoli Fang is Research Professor at the NanoTech Institute of the University of Texas at Dallas, received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Institute for Molecular Science in Japan (1994). Before joining the NanoTech Institute of UTD in 2004, he has served various management and technical positions in semiconductor, telecommunication, and nanotechnology industries. Shaoli has 18 Issued US Patents and 11 high-impact publications in Science and Nature Series journals as a corresponding author and a co-author, with over 12,000 journal citations. He has received Nano 50 Awards from Nanotech Briefs Magazine for Carbon Nanotube Sheets and Yarns (2006), the Scientific American Magazine 50 recognition (2006), and the R&D 100 Gold Award for Market Disruptor Product (2015). He is an honorary professor of four universities in China including the Honorable Tang Aoqing Professor of Jilin University in 2010.
